You turned 1 last month. We took you to the Las Vegas Renaissance Fair. I’d never been before, but after going, I think this is where we’ll be spending your birthday for the next few years — at least until you tell us how you want to celebrate.

It was such a fun experience. People were breaking out into song, and the costumes and camp setups made it feel like we’d stepped into another world. So much energy and creativity everywhere. Check out your pants! You rocked your pirate pants to the fair and looked dope as always.

You had so many people there to celebrate with you! Your best friend from school, Charlie, came with his mom and dad. Your Titi Clair was there with your cousin Legend. Uncle Chris and Auntie Sierra showed up with their kiddos too. It was such a fun day.

You’ve made this year the best. Your mom and I love you so, so much. I can’t wait for all of the birthdays to come (well, let’s not have them come too fast 🙃)
