You're Getting So Big!

I love this photo.

We were at Cactus Joe’s because Mom had some stuff to do with the Desert Love people out there. I was going to write about how much we love going to Cactus Joe’s, walking around, and looking at all of the fun stuff they have on the property.

But then I looked at this photo while I was writing and just couldn’t believe how fast you’re growing.

You’re not even 2 yet.

It’s hard to describe, but as you get older, time seems to move faster and faster. And now I can say this: when you get older and have a child, time starts to move almost too fast. You blink and a month has gone by.

All the while, you’re getting taller. Your dexterity is improving every day. Your comprehension keeps growing. You’re becoming very opinionated about what you do and don’t like. Honestly, it’s pretty amazing.

Every single day there is something new. Something you do that amazes your mom and me.

We love you so much, buddy.

And I really love this picture.

We’ll have a lot of visits to Cactus Joe’s in our future. I’m sure the next time we go, you’ll be even bigger.
